Happy Halloween From Fallen Knights Fanzine!

Hello everyone, this is LoC again, just stopping by to wish you all a Happy Halloween from all of us at Fallen Knights Refuge. Originally I was hoping to have a lot more Halloween related content ready to go for tonight, but all is not lost. As you will soon see, we have a few things ready for your viewing pleasure anyway. Thanks and enjoy!

Suikoden Tierkreis Update, and estimated US Release date!

Fallen Knights Fanzine has recently learned that the English translation of Suikoden Tierkreis is already well under way at Konami, and the North American release is expected to be sometime during the first quarter of 2009, although a more specific date is yet to be announced.

More game details have also recently been revealed in the latest issue of Nintendo Power. Progression within the game will be mission based, and these missions are also the only way to get potch(Suikoden's currency).Other changes from prior Suikoden games are that One-On-One Duels, True Runes, and the strategy battles are not present within Suikoden Tierkreis, nor are weapon upgrades. All weapons will instead be found within stores, like in most other RPG's. Another huge difference is that the game takes place in a parallel world. However, other familar elements such as co-op attacks, different attack ranges(Short,Medium, and Long) do return. The Japanese release date is set for December 18, 2008, and more details should be revealed as the release draws closer.

Fanzine Update Report 9-10-08

Although I only opened this Fanzine blog a mere 3 days ago, it seems to be moving along fairly briskly so far. We already have a number of reviews, articles, and stories up for your reading pleasure, and quite a few more coming your way soon. You may also have noticed that we now have six contributers on staff including myself, and there should be a few others joining us shortly. While I haven't been able to figure out exactly how big our reader base is yet, the feedback we have received so far has been largely positive. We would like to take this time to thank everyone who has been reading the Fanzine, and to those whom have offered us feedback or suggestions. We hope that you continue checking back here, and be sure to tell your friends about us! We are only just getting warmed up, and the best is yet to come!

Flight of the Conchords, only to last one more season?

Well the news isn't a fact as of yet, but the guys are expressing the idea of ending the show after season 2. Bret McKenzie saying "It would be a fitting end to the series." Both Bret McKenzie, and Jemaine Clement expressed that they were tired of working on the show, especially now that their new season has to deal with all new material, which means it'll be a long work process. They never expected the rock star status, since they are considered a comedy act rather than anything else. It also wasn't easy getting used to all the popularity. In New Zealand they were just a band trying to do their thing, here in the states, they've become uneasy of all of the stardom. Fans really showed their love for FotC, one woman even came on stage to touch Jemaine. I guess you could say FotC are big with the ladies, especially when an unknown fan in the audience screams to the guys "take off your pants".

Anyways the possibility of the show ending after season 2 is still there. Plus this doesn't mean the end of FotC. They could bring out more albums, and possibly go their separate ways into music, movies and television Jemaine Clement will be starring in Gentlemen Broncos, directed by Napoleon Dynamite director Jared Hess. The film is about a Science fiction writer who steals a book idea from a fan. And Bret still has the The Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra of which he created a while back. Plus he has Video Kid, and I'd love to see him bringing out another Video Kid album.

As for a season 3, lets hope. I think a better fitting end, would be to make a feature length film. Why not? Sex and the City did it and so did The X-Files. Anyways I just hope that they reconsider. The idea of a season 3, or even 4 is just awesome.

Loooooooooooooooooong time, no see!

Yes, it has been months since I last updated this thing. Despite that, work has not ceased on this blog, even if much of it has not been published yet. My Castlevania review was just published tonight, and you can expect more updates to follow in the near future. Until then, keep reading and more updates will follow!

I will edit this more tomorrow, to fill you in on recent happenings.

You will be pleased to know however that although I haven’t updated in a while, work has indeed not been idle for the Fanzine.

We will be starting a series of interviews here with friends, associates, and some fellow Webmasters or Bloggers.

The first interviewee has already been picked out, but I need to see if they are interested first.

Expect to see the first interview up shortly.

Oh, and I haven’t forgotten about reviews either…trust me

Welcome To The Fallen Knight’s Fanzine!( 2007)

Hello everyone, and welcome to my new home for The Fallen Knights Fanzine. Some of you may know me from my other blog, or another website or forum. The purpose of the Fallen Knights Fanzine will be different from TheLoneKnight in that the primary focus here will be on reviews, articles, interviews, news, and more. While I have done a few reviews and articles at my other blog, they will have a greater chance to take center stage here. Also unlike my other blog, I am planning to make this a collaborative effort at some point with other writers and contributers. For now though, I am just glad to get this thing started.

Once again, I would like to extend a huge thank you to Chris and Marsha at Blogging4Life for graciously hosting me.

Within the near future, I am planning to open a new forum dedicated to Fanzine discussions for greater community interaction with us. Once it is up, you can expect to find a link here.

Thank you for reading, and I hope you continue to visit and maybe offer some comments or feedack! Till next time, I will see ya around.
